1. Cleansing: select a cleaner that doesn’t leave your skin tight. Clean your face no more than two times on a daily basis, or simply once, if you’ve got dry skin and don’t really wear makeup that much.

2. Serums: A blood serum with vitamin C and/or growth factors would be is best for the morning routine. At night, however, vitamin A or prescription retinoids work best.

 3. Moisturizer: It might sound weird but, believe it or not, even oily skin needs to moisturize. However, it’s still best to use one that’s light-weight, gel-based and doesn’t block your pores. On the other hand, dry skin loves cream-based moisturizers.

4. Sunscreen: Apply an emollient with a minimum of 30 SPF 15 minutes before heading outdoors. Darker skin tones really crave additional sun protection as a result of physiological conditions.

Choose a product that suits your skin type and sensitivity and always check the labels. You’d genuinely want to know what you’re applying to your face.

So, what can I do?

And don’t forget to skin test new products, especially if you think you’re skin is sensitive. This will definetly help you evade unecesssary reactions.

How To skin test a brand new product

1. Apply a small amount of product on your skin in an exceedingly discreet space, like the inner part of your arm.
